YOUR PRIVACY

Privacy & cookies.

Mark Brightman uses this website to share artwork and respond to enquiries. For privacy questions or requests about your information, email hello@markbrightman.art.

Optional website analytics

If you select “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics helps us understand visits, referral sources, pages and paintings viewed, enquiry-link clicks and mailing-list confirmation requests. Analytics receives technical information about your browser and device and uses cookies to distinguish visits. We do not send your email address, enquiry text or newsletter form contents to Analytics. Enquiry clicks show interest; they do not establish that an email was sent or a sale took place.

The Google tag only loads after you accept. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our website settings. You can decline and still use the site, or change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Declining after accepting stops analytics and removes its cookies from this browser.

Cookies and local preferences

Google Analytics cookies beginning with _ga last up to six months and may be renewed on visits when analytics is accepted. Your analytics choice is saved locally for six months. The site also saves when you dismiss the mailing-list popup so it does not keep appearing; it can appear again after 30 days.

Mailing-list signups and enquiries

When you sign up, Brevo processes your email address to send a confirmation and, once you confirm, art updates. You can unsubscribe using the link in any update. Enquiry links open your email app; messages you choose to send go to Mark’s iCloud-hosted mailbox to answer your enquiry.

Service providers

Our hosting provider processes requests to deliver and secure this website. Google, Brevo and Apple process information through their services, which may involve processing outside the UK. You can read more in Google’s privacy policy, Brevo’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.
